Meet Guillermo Madriz Dominquez, our new implant dentist who is providing dental implants, aesthetic dentistry and full-mouth restorative dentistry for our patients. We are also pleased to share that we can now offer hygiene appointments, thanks to the addition of experienced dental hygienist Lisa Tomlinson to the St Saviourgate Dental Centre team.

Roxanne Williams, known as Roxy, is the newest nurse at York St Saviourgate to complete her diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3. Roxy has proven to be a great nurse with a natural ability and gift for looking after patients and putting them at ease.

Zoe Sampson gained her National Certificate for Dental nurses in 1995 and joined the practice in 2007, before going on to gain her dental implant qualification in 2008.

Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
