Look after your employees' everyday health
For a regular monthly or annual premium, employer health cash plans allow your employees to claim money back on many common health expenses, including dental, optical and prescription charges, all up to annual benefit limits.
Your employees won’t need pre-authorisation or to undertake a medical, and pre-existing conditions will be covered.
We have a cash plan that covers some costs for consultations and diagnostic tests or scans, and gives employees access to a telephone helpline with experienced nurses on hand to answer your queries.
What your employees can claim for with a cash plan
Please note, the cash back amount depends on your membership level. There are three membership levels: 1 to 3. The cash back amounts mentioned here are for membership level 3 and are the maximum amounts per benefit year.
Optical care
Prescription glasses or contact lenses, routine eye tests and corrective laser treatment up to £200.
Dental care
Check-ups and treatments such as fillings, dentures and more covered up to £200. We also cover dental injuries up to £400.
Consultations & diagnostic test or scans
Covered up to £500 for consultant fees with consultants, dietitians or occupational therapists, and diagnostic tests or scans to assess your employees condition.
Prescription charges
Up to £45 towards NHS and private prescription charges.
Therapy treatments
Physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture, chiropody and podiatry up to a total of £500 each benefit year.
Individual Plus and family cover
Options for your employees to cover themselves and their families (eligible partner and child dependants), depending on the cash plan and and/or level of cover chosen.
Access to our Bupa Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Support for your employees mental health and wellbeing any time of the day or night.
Cash benefits for hospital admissions
Up to £40 cash back per hospital admission instance (days or nights). Up to a total of 20 days or nights.

Bupa Wellbeing Health Expenses
This company-paid plan (with option for employees to upgrade) offers different membership levels to help towards the costs of everyday healthcare for your employees and their families.
- Three membership levels including individual plus (main member and up to four child dependants) and family options (main member, their partner and up to four child dependants).
- Employees get 100% cash back, up to annual benefit allowances.
- Other benefits, including physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropody/podiatry, our Anytime HealthLine and the Bupa Employee Assistance Programme‡.
- Access to an online health check for main member only
